Get Out! Travel

The trip to the Ranch was a huge success.  We all came back well rested and exercise!  Everybody got to ride horse back and we all swam in the pool also.The food was delicious and the accommodation second to none.  It is the only truly ADA compliant and accessible ranch in the USA and was a real treat for everyone.

We spent the days riding, swimming and relaxing - there is a great games room there and we played pool and cards and did some arts and crafts activities.  

Nobody wanted to leave at the end of the week and we are already making plans for our return next year!

We had an amazing and wonderful trip to The Gentle Barn yesterday.  They rescue and rehabilitate abused farm animals and have some amazing success stories.  These animals can now be used as therapy and rehabilitation for adults and children with developmental disabilities and special needs.  The magic that happened during our visit is beyond words.  Below are a few photos of our day - there are many more on our facebook page!
